Release of Liability & Participant Agreement

1. Acknowledgment of Rules & Physical Fitness

I understand that strict adherence to all rules, regulations, and safety guidelines of NEW JOURNEY MMA — including the proper use of required protective equipment — significantly reduces the risk of injury.
I affirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the prescribed martial arts training and activities.

2. Substance Use Prohibited

I acknowledge and agree that the use of any substances—including drugs, alcohol, or performance-altering substances—is strictly prohibited before or during participation in any NEW JOURNEY MMA training, classes, events, or activities.
Violation of this policy may result in immediate dismissal without refund.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand and accept that participation in martial arts, fitness training, and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, and accidents.
I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge of these risks and agree to assume all responsibility for my own safety.

4. Release, Waiver, and Hold Harmless

In consideration for being permitted to participate at NEW JOURNEY MMA, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless NEW JOURNEY MMA, its owners, officers, instructors, employees, agents, and affiliated individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss—whether caused by negligence, omission, fault, or any other act connected to NEW JOURNEY MMA.

5. Media Release

I grant permission for NEW JOURNEY MMA to use photographs, video footage, or any other media representation of me for promotional, advertising, or publicity purposes without compensation.

6. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Release of Liability and Participant Agreement.
I agree to comply with all rules and expectations of NEW JOURNEY MMA and accept all risks associated with participation.
